MEET THE OWNER
I'm Matthew Stanley, the owner of Legendary Homes. My journey into luxury home building was kickstarted by my mom. She built our family's homes herself, therefore I have been visiting job sites since I was in diapers. Home building was her true passion, so every two years we would move into a new home and sell our 2 year old home, and then we would move on to the next place and the next house. My love for home design started at a young age when my parents would buy me ice cream and we would drive around looking at houses for inspiration. My mom always jokes that as a little boy, I called colonial homes "coloniums" and still makes fun of me for it. My mom is an integral part of what we do, as she still helps with our interior designs. She is my biggest inspiration and always told me, "You can be anything you want." I have always taken this piece of advice to heart as I continue to embrace my love for home design.

Our LEGENDARY HISTORY
1982
Michele and Greg Stanley purchased their first lot on the westside of Cincinnati and started to build their first family home.
Michele and Greg sold their first home.
1985
1992
Matt's very first involvement in the homebuilding process. He helped to hang cabinets and install trim.
Matt graduates from Ohio University with a Business degree. He majored in Information Systems and was also in the Sales Center and Entrepreneurship program, one of the nations first and highest ranked programs.
2003
2004
Matt begins working in IT, simultaneously rehabbing homes on the side.
Matt quits his job in IT to purse his passion in real estate and construction.
2007

Matt does his first infill/teardown new build in Madeira
Matt begins building “Custom” homes for clients

Legendary Homes is rebranding and focusing on building beautiful homes that are truly Legendary.
